Moskvoretskaya Embankment is located in Moscow on the left bank of the Moskva River in Kitay-Gorod between Bolshoy Moskvoretsky and Bolshoy Ustinsky bridges.
Moskvoretskaya embankment continues the Kremlin embankment, starting from Vasilyevsky Spusk, Moskvoretskaya Street and the Bolshoy Moskvoretsky Bridge, runs east along Zaryadye Park, Kitaigorodsky Proezd adjoins it on the left.
Then it bends with the river to the southeast along the building of the former Orphanage. It passes under the Bolshoy Ustinsky Bridge, where Ustinsky passage and Ustinsky embankment on the right bank of the Yauza adjoin it. Behind the Maly Ustinsky Bridge across the Yauza it passes into the Kotelnicheskaya embankment. The section up to Kitaygorodsky passage belongs to the Tverskoy district, and beyond it – to the Tagansky district. Opposite is the Raushskaya embankment of Bolotny Island.
