Krasnokholmskaya Embankment is an embankment in the center of Moscow on the left bank of the Moskva River in the Tagansky District between Narodnaya Street and Sarinsky Proyezd. It is a continuation of the Goncharnaya embankment.
It received its modern name due to its proximity to the ancient tract Red Hill. In the 19th century and until 1929, it was called Novospassky – after the Novospassky Monastery.
