ART EXHIBITIONS

TAULÉ LUX in the government art gallery ARTALROC, Escaldes-Engordany. After a career spanning fifty-one years, the Catalan Spaniard ANTONI TAULÉ will, for the first time, be exhibiting paintings and photographs in Andorra made between 1973 and 2016. ANTONI TAULÉ  is one of the most relevant figures in current contemporary art. Born in Sabadell in 1945, he lives and works in Paris. He studied architecture and devoted himself to the profession before turning full time to painting and photography and, for some years, to stage scenery. His work can be seen in museums and galleries around the world. They offer timeless scenes often inside wide, gloomy, architectural spaces barely illuminated by intense, dazzling light. These are timeless scenes, inhabited by isolated, solitary characters, immobilized halfway between sleep and wakefulness.

THYSSEN MUSEUM: GUIDED TOURS Every Sunday until Sunday, 31st December from 11h – 11.30 at the Museu Thyssen, Escaldes-Engordany. Places limited, reserve at +376 800 800. Short, guided visits to the Museu Thyssen art gallery lasting approximately 30 minutes allowing one to know in greater depth one of the artistic movements represented in the exhibition. Each Sunday will deal with a different movement.
