Monument to Alexander Pushkin and Natalya Goncharova

The Monument to Alexander Pushkin and Natalya Goncharova – a monument to the famous Russian poet Alexander Pushkin and his wife Natalya Goncharova. Installed in 1999 on the Arbat street (Moscow) opposite the house where they lived. The authors of the project are sculptors Alexander and Igor Burganov, architects Evgeny Rozanov and E. K. Shumov.

The sculpture replicates the scene after the wedding of the couple and depicts them walking forward holding hands. Both bronze statues are made with great portrait resemblance and are installed on a granite pedestal with the inscription: “Alexander Pushkin and Natalia Goncharova”.
