Today the Government of Andorra has approved the proposal to build a national heliport in the administrative district of Encamp, Andorra (Pyrenees).
According to the project, the minimum area of the heliport is 4000 m2 with the possibility of expanding to 6,000 m2. Takeoff and landing of helicopters is possible in two directions with an angle between them not less than 150 degrees.
The construction of the heliport also includes the creation of infrastructure, as well as the study of possible environmental impacts, the construction of an access road, a passenger hall.
