The Government of Andorra has agreed on the installation of audible warning devices at various intersections equipped with traffic lights on the road network of the country. The company AERCO will be responsible for the implementation of the project. The end of the work is scheduled within 10 weeks.
Andorra (Pyrenees) has 53 intersections equipped with traffic lights. 11 are already equipped with audible alarms; the remaining 42 will be soon. The purpose of the operation is to provide better security for everyone crossing a road.
