Around 1200 cyclists took part in the international competitions La Multisegur Volta als Ports d’Andorra

The international competitions of amateur cyclists “Multisegur Volta als Ports d’Andorra” took place on 1st July in Andorra (Pyrenees)

It was the 41st edition of the competitions. Around 1200 cyclists took part in the competitions.

The start zone – Gran del Prat del Colat Park (La Massana)

The itineraries:

Route N1 – the distance of 27 km, altitude difference – 1109 m positive (suitable for all cyclists).

Route N2 – the distance of 53 km, altitude difference – 1873 m positive (suitable for cyclists of the middle level).

Route N3 – distance of 81 km, altitude difference – 2322 m positive (suitable for high level cyclists).

Route N4 – the distance of 109 km, altitude difference – 3232 m positive (suitable for very high level cyclists).

The finish zone – La Coma d’Arcalís (Ordino) at 2225 m.

The winner of the most difficult route is the Spanish sportsman Raúl Portillo (3.53.09). Second place – New Zealander Jorge Bennet (3.54.20), third place – Australian Freddy Ovett (3.54.29).

Women: The winner of the most difficult competition is Teresa Costa, Catalonia (4.53.54). Second place – Spaniard Sandra Murillo (4.57.5), third place – Spaniard Pilar Ferragud (5.22.49).
