Red Cross blood donation campaign starts on 18th February in Andorra (Pyrenees).
This year it will be held for five days. This Saturday, the blood can be donated in Caubella area from 11.00 till 14.00 and from 15.00 to 18.00. Every donor is free of charge to use the cable car to the destination and have breakfast at the restaurants next to the ski station.
Next day donation – 6th March at the same hours and in the same place.
On 12th May, the blood can be donated in the Congress Centre of Andorra la Vella from 10.00 to 22.00. The following days – 18 and 19 September and 4 and 5 December (the place will be announced later).
According to the director of the Red Cross of Andorra Sergi Penedès, there is now a tendency of increase of the number of voluntary donors.
To donate blood you must be aged between 18 and 65 years old and weighing more than 50 kg. Everyone must have an identity document.
