Arrosseria Andorra is the only place in Andorra which offers a large number of options for traditional dish of Valencia – paella: from “Paella mixta” to “Bogavante Gallego”.
The Catalan word paella is associated with the old French word “paelle”, and the latter comes from the Latin word “patella”. Latin (“patella”) and modern French (“poêle” – oven, frying pan) words are related.
Arrosseria Andorra is located in the center of Andorra la Vella, in the historical center of the capital next to the church of San Esteve. The owners of the restaurant are a charming couple from Spain.
The capacity of the restaurant is 35 people. Nearby is a magnificent terrace, which is open all year round. It is designed for another 20 people.
Among the most recommended dishes are also roasted pig, entrecote (a piece of cow meat cut between ribs and a ridge) and angus fillet (marbled beef), as well as some vegan dishes such as grilled vegetables.
The rest of the menu is traditional dishes, like in a good restaurant, such as on the Costa Brava.
