23rd Culinary Festival takes place in Andorra this weekend

Saturday, 16th November from 18h in the Sala de Festes of the Sports and Sociocultural Complex of Encamp, Andorra.

23rd Culinary Festival: best recipes with vegetables and meat as the main ingredients. These dishes will enter in a
competition in the adult category (people over 14), where four prizes will be awarded: the most elaborate dish, the most original, the one with the best combination of ingredients and the best presented.

The competition continues with the category for children aged from 5 to 14. This year they can present pizzas. The recipes presented will compete for one of the four existing prizes: the best desserts, the best presented, the one that uses the most original ingredients and those with the best combination of ingredients.

PROGRAMME: 18h The presentation of the dishes and the deliberation of the jury.

At 19h a group of accordionists will act.

At 20h a performance by the folkdance group Esbart Sant Romà d’Encamp’s. 20:30h A tasting of the dishes resented (2€) and a dinner offered by Rebost del Padrí, all accompanied by accordion music. This year, as a novelty, there will be ham tasting carried out by El Rebost del Padrí (a firm specialising in locally sourced, traditionally produced foods).

The evening will end with a night time dance.
