An arbitration court will be established in Andorra

An arbitration court will be established in Andorra (Pyrenees). This decision was taken by the Government of Andorra on 7th February.

The Minister of Justice, Social and Internal Affairs of Andorra Xavier Espot Zamora explained, that “the creation of an arbitration court is the last step to popularize arbitration after the approval of the arbitration law of 2014, which offers alternative mechanisms for resolving business conflicts more flexibly, quickly and effectively “.

The court will consider disputes in the spheres of trade, industry and services, including international ones. It will be represented by seven judges – representatives of the official Collegium of Advocates of Andorra.
