Tree-shaped wind energy systems will appear in Andorra

Tree-shaped wind energy systems will appear in Andorra (Pyrenees). The corresponding project has been supported by the Government of Andorra and will be implemented by the Andorran budget. The author of the project is the teacher of the primary school of Andorra la Vella.

The aim is to install wind energy systems in Andorra, which are renewed with the help of objects imitating trees. Each tree can produce up to 1900 kW / h per year. The electricity generated will be used for public use (for example for lighting).

The budget allocated to this project in 2018 is 300,000 euros.

The project was supported by the majority of Andorran citizens.
