From January 2, 2019, the inhabitants of Andorra (Pyrenees) will no longer have to go to the church of their parish to obtain a certificate of civil status. Thus, the birth, death or marriage certificates systems will be centralized and entered into a single civil registry.
Prior to the creation of a civil registry in 1997, all evidence was registered in the churches of each parish.
