The 2018 course of Mountain bike (MTB) “Transpyr Coast to Coast” will occur from the 10th to the 16th of June

The 2018 course of Mountain bike (MTB) “Transpyr Coast to Coast” will occur from the 10th to the 16th of June and will stretch from the Mediterranean to the Cantabrian sea. There will be sectors which will be timed giving it a more competitive edge. The 11 of June, on the second stage, the cyclists will finish in la Seu d’Urgell which will also be used for the starting line in the third stage.

The timed sectors will be in between 20 and 30 km, the results of each competitor will be shown in each stage and later added to give the final result. There will be variety during these tests with 600 meters of incline, rapid descents and hard climbs. The locations will range from the start of the race to the finish.

The cyclists will face more than 100 km daily and will be able to injoy majestic views of the Pyrenees.

Transpyr’s goal is to offer a fun and adventurous race but also adds the competitive side for the cyclists who want to take things more seriously and test themselves.

This formula is the result of demands from racers who couldn’t make the most of the views, experience and the international atmosphere. This new proposal has had a widespread acceptance since the start from last year.

Furthermore, “Transpyr Coast to Coast” was awarded again for the best races the MTB world can offer, according to the prestigious National Geographic.
