The Llosa del Cavall reservoir is a dam located in the Vall de Lord in the Pyrenees, which belongs to the Cardener river (Llobregat river basin), created by a dam in the municipality of Navès (Catalonia, Spain), which extends through the terms of Navès, Guixers and a tiny portion of that of Sant Llorenç de Morunys, in the county of Solsonès in the Lleida province. It is managed by the Catalan Water Agency.
In addition to the waters of the upper course of the Cardener, it also collects those of its tributary the Aigua de Valls. The total area of the basin is 200 km².
The dam, with a double arch, 122.3 m high and a coronation length of 326 m, stands in the municipality of Navès in a place known as Llosa del Cavall and was just built in 1997.
Inside the dam there is all the necessary infrastructure to install a hydroelectric plant, although this energy potential is currently not being exploited.
It has a maximum capacity of 79.4 hm³.
