La Roque-sur-Cèze is a commune located in the northeast of the Gard department, in the Occitania region (France).
Exposed to a Mediterranean climate, it is drained by the Cèze, the Rodières stream and various other small streams. The town has a remarkable natural heritage: a Natura 2000 site (“Cèze and its gorges”) and two natural areas of ecological, fauna and flora interest.
La Roque-sur-Cèze is a rural commune which has 177 inhabitants in 2021, after having experienced a population peak of 369 inhabitants in 1806. It is part of the Bagnols-sur-Cèze catchment area. Its inhabitants are called Roquairols or Roquairoles.

- The Saint-Pierre-ès-Liens chapel in La Roque-sur-Cèze. Romanesque style chapel of the old castle. Built during the 12th century (consecration in 1156 by the bishop of Uzès).

- The Sautadet waterfalls are an exceptional but dangerous site. The “giant pots” are cylindrical cavities dug into the rocky bed of the rivers.
