KUKFO theater in St. Petersburg

KUKFO (Russian: Кукольный Формат, Puppet Format) is a St. Petersburg theater for children and adults, where everything is possible, but in a puppet format.

“Puppet Format” is an author’s theater with a European chamber atmosphere, created in 2003 by director and artist Anna Viktorova.

They became participants in dozens of international and Russian festivals (in Greece and Poland, Thailand and Korea, the Czech Republic and Finland, Belarus and Armenia, Moscow and Norilsk, Penza and Sergiev Posad), projects and charity events, including Dostoevsky Day, City Day, Night museums, the Theater Workshop of Roman Alexandrov, “The Sovereign’s Fun” in Peterhof, compositions for cinemas by Roma Liberov “Keep my speech forever” and “The Secret Man”.

The repertoire of the theater includes more than 15 performances. Our performances “The Rider of CUPRUM” (2005), “Robin-Bobin” (2007), “Petit Fours” (2019) received the Golden Mask National Theater Award, and the performances “The Scarlet Flower” (2014) ), The Queen of Spades (2016), Petit fours (2018), The Nutcracker (2019) became laureates of the Golden Soffit, the highest theater award of St. Petersburg.

Ticket price

Children’s performances: entrance ticket – 500-1500 rubles.
Adult performances: entrance ticket – 1200 rubles, pension ticket (only for the performances of “Petit Fours. Grandmothers” and “Petit Fours. Grandfathers”) – 600 rubles. (Entrance by pension certificate, the number of tickets is limited).
