Buenavista street is located between the streets of Santa Isabel and Calle de la Fe in Madrid (Community of Madrid, Spain).
The name comes from an image of the Virgin and a Castilian knight who belonged to the Castilian lineage.
It’s said that the knight punched a Moor in the face in Algeciras by shooting a dart into his chest, with marksmanship that made him known as the Knight of Buenavista, a name that spread to the Virgin, who was venerated in her own house located in that street.
