The Andorran Council of Ministers approved a decree obliging to indicate the registration number of the taxpayer exporting or importing commercial cargo into the territory of Andorra (Pyrenees). This measure was adopted in connection with the adaptation of the new computer system of the Andorran Customs Service. The decree enters into force on 1st July, 2017.
The Finance Minister of Andorra Jordi Cinca has explained, that taxpayer registration number should include all invoices and other documents accompanying the import or export of commercial cargo. Otherwise, there will be a customs ban.
The new computer system of the Customs Service of Andorra is introduced to improve the administrative efficiency and simplifying the customs procedures of the principality.
