Ordino Arcalís ski resort

The Ordino-Arcalís resort was founded in 1983 by residents of the village of the same name (Ordino, Andorra). It is located in the picturesque northern Ordino Valley. This area is renowned for its ideal snow conditions and, arguably, the earliest opening of the winter season among all the resorts in the Pyrenees.

It boasts 442 hectares of ski slopes, 30.5 kilometers of slopes, and 16 lifts, including the modern Doppelmayr D-Line gondola. Active skiers can enjoy 101 snow cannons, six restaurants, parking for 1,500 cars, two ski rental shops, and a freeride school.

The resort’s vertical drop ranges from 1,940 to 2,625 meters, offering runs for skiers of all levels, from long green slopes to challenging black pistes.

One of the resort’s landmarks is the viewpoint and sundial at Peyreguils. Situated at an altitude of 2,701 meters, this peak offers breathtaking views of the Tristaina lakes and the Ordino Valley.

In 2018, the Ordino-Arcalis resort became part of the Grandvalira brand, creating the Grandvalira Resorts chain. Pal-Arinsal joined the chain in the 2022-2023 season, increasing the total length of slopes to 308 km and making Grandvalira Resorts one of the largest ski resorts in Europe.
