GAZ 14-05 Chayka “Seagull”. In addition to the base sedan GAZ 14, the plant produced a modification of the ceremonial phaeton – 14-05. The body had a locally reinforced structure. Instead of a full-featured cabriolet mechanism for lifting side windows and an awning that was retracted by the electrohydraulic drive, it had windows only on the front doors and a simple tent that was manually installed over the front seat. One of the phaetons was presented to Fidel Castro.
