Ézaro and its beaches

Ézaro (officially known as O Ézaro) is a parish part of the municipality of Dumbría, in the province of A Coruña, in the autonomous community of Galicia of northwestern Spain. It belongs to the comarca of Fisterra.

It is the only parish of the Dumbría municipality bordering the sea, the Atlantic Ocean.

It is a part of Costa da Morte of the Atlantic resorts of Spain.

The territory is crossed by the Jallas river, which flows into the sea at the Ézaro Waterfall.

In the vicinity of the waterfall is located the Electricity Museum (Ézaro Electricity Interpretation Center) and the start of the ascent to the Ézaro Viewpoint.

There is also Atlantis Aventura Turismo Activo Sports center.

Beaches

The main urban area has a landscaped promenade bordering its blue flag-awarded beach of fine sand called Praia do Ézaro.
