The IRESA (Industrias Reunidas Españolas, S.A.) was a Madrid company founded in 1949 by Antonio S. de Baigorren, and began its activities manufacturing auxiliary motors for bicycles.
The first engines manufactured by IRESA had a capacity of 48 cc. Later it manufactured motorcycles which were equipped with its own engines 65cc and 98cc.
