Barrikadnaya metro station

Barrikadnaya is a station of the Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya line of the Moscow Metro, located between the stations “Ulitsa 1905 Goda” and “Pushkinskaya“.

It was opened on December 30, 1972 as part of the section “Barrikadnaya” – “Oktyabrskoye Pole”, after the commissioning of which there were 96 stations in the Moscow Metro. Named after the street of the same name.

From the western end of the central hall of the station, the escalator leads to the Krasnopresnenskaya Koltsevaya Line station, from the eastern end to the ground lobby located on Barrikadnaya Street.

There is also access to the city to the Moscow Zoo and Bolshaya Gruzinskaya Street, Barrikadnaya Street and a skyscraper on Kudrinskaya Square.

Depth of laying – 30 meters. Passenger traffic through the station lobby is 32.9 thousand people per day.
