Istanbul Modern Art Museum (İstanbul Modern Sanat Müzesi), or simply Istanbul Modern, is a modern art museum established in 2004 in the Karaköy district of Istanbul.

It is Turkey’s first modern and contemporary art museum. It is located between Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University and Tophane-i Amire Culture and Art Center. Founded by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (İKSV) under the leadership of the Eczacıbaşı family, the museum was opened to visitors on December 11, 2004, in Warehouse No. 4.

In 2018, the exhibition was moved to a building in Beyoğlu due to reconstruction. In 2022, the location in Beyoğlu was closed and the new Museum building was designed on its old site on May 04, 2023 and opened to visitors again. The five-story, 10,500 m2 (113,000 sq ft) building was designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Renzo Piano.

The new building offers various exhibition halls as well as educational workshops, a cinema, a library, a design shop, event spaces, and a café and restaurant.

The museum’s collection includes modern works of art, paintings, sculpture, photography, design, architecture and new media.
