Ansouis is a commune located in the department of Vaucluse in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region (France).

The town is located to the south of the Luberon massif. Like many municipalities in the sector, tourism and agriculture (vineyards, olive trees, etc.) play an important part in its economy.

Built sheltered from the mistral, Ansouis dominates the Durance plain and is located south of Cucuron and Sannes and north of Villelaure and Pertuis.

The village is a member of the association, The Most Beautiful Villages of France.
