Vintage audio: vinyl player and tuner Kantata 205 Stereo. Made in USSR

The stationary radio “Kantata-205-Stereo” has been produced by the JSC “Murom Plant Radio Measuring Instruments” since 1986. The stereo radiola of the second class of complexity using integrated Kantata-205-Stereo’s integrated circuits consists of a tuner, an IIEPU-65CM type electric player and two remote speakers. The tuner has an APC and BSH in the VHF range, indicator of stereo transmission, antennas nests, tape recorder, phones. The EPU has a pickup with a magnetic head ” GMZ-105 ”, a mechanism for returning the tonarm to its original position, a microlypt, a regulator of the press and strobe-competing. JSC “Murom Plant Radio Measuring Instruments” – a Soviet/Russian enterprise producing electronic equipment, is a head enterprise for the production of ground radar, radar systems for the aircrafts. It is located in Murom. Founded on May 4, 1947 by a resolution of the Council of Ministers of the USSR. In October 1949, the plant released the first products.

The plant produces civic products-household radio equipment-electric music tools, amplifier-acoustic complexes.
