Tourism
Today, this restored flower-filled village in Aquitaine exudes the charm inherited from centuries of history: remains of the ramparts, a patrol path, an arcaded square, houses with carved timber-framed walls, residences with mullioned windows, a manor house, etc. An ancient cobbled hillside, unique in the Landes department, three octagonal towers, and a curious lock chamber give it its unique character.
Beyond the historic center, the neighborhoods offer their own curiosities, including three churches and a castle listed in the supplementary inventory of Historic Monuments:
- Église Saint-Sernin de Douzevielle
- Église Saint-Martin de Noët
- Église d’Argelouse
- Château de Fondat
Transport
The village is accessible via bus line 442, which operates between Mont-de-Marsan and Agen. The bus runs twice daily, making the trip in about 45 minutes. One ticket costs €3.
