Poudenas Castle is a castle located in the commune of Poudenas, in the department of Lot-et-Garonne (Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, France).

Built in the 13th century by the lords of Poudenas, vassals of Edward 1st Plantagenet, Duke of Aquitaine and King of England, the Poudenas castle defends the Gélise valley, which it overlooks by 50 meters, at the outlet of the Landaise forest.

A military fortification until the 16th century, the castle was then decorated with mullioned windows, which opened the keep to the north and south. A hundred years later, a complete redesign adorns the interior courtyard with two terraces each supported by four arcades, and the large facade with a triple gallery recalling an Italian villa and its landscape.

The monument has been classified as a historic monument since August 22, 1984 for its facades and its roofs of the keep and the buildings surrounding the main courtyard, its south facade with its gallery and its terraces and its corresponding roof, its terrace in front of the facade of the castle, its stone staircase with a square wall and straight flights, its fireplace in the large living room and the reception room and its surrounding wall.
