BMW R35. Black version

The BMW R 35 was a touring motorcycle of the 350 cc class by the German motorcycle manufacturer BMW, which was built from 1937.

On February 20, 1937, BMW presented the R 35 to the public for the first time at the German Motor Show in Berlin.

With its pressed steel frame and single-cylinder engine, it was used as a medium-sized motorcycle by the Wehrmacht only as a solo machine.

The R 35 was designed as the successor to the BMW R 3, which was difficult to sell, and the BMW R 4, which had been built since 1931. The engine housing was taken from the R 4, the cylinder head corresponded to that of the R 3. BMW used a pressed steel double loop frame without rear wheel suspension for the last time, the telescopic fork on the front wheel did not have hydraulic damping.
