AWO-Simson 425. Black version

AWO-425 (ABO-425, Simson-425) is a motorcycle manufactured at the Simson plant in Suhl, Germany. From 1950 to 1952 the motorcycle came to the Soviet Union on account of reparations. The designation “AVO” is an abbreviation for “Avtovelo”, a Soviet joint-stock company that, since September 1946, has united several factories (including Simson) on the territory of the GDR. The number “4” means four-stroke, and “25” means a working volume of 250 cm³.
