The first stage of Freeride World Tour 2016 starts today in VALLNORD-ARCALÍS, Andorra (Pyrenees).
Due to recent fresh snowfall and excellent conditions on the competition face, the date was shifted to ensure the best possible experience for the riders.
More than 25 athletes from more than 10 countries will take part in the competition today. Among the most famous participants of the first stage – the stars of world freeride Sam Smoothie (New Zealand), Julien Lopez (France), Rheine Bickered (Sweden), Drew Tabke (USA).
The second round of this season is scheduled for February 6 in the French Chamonix Mont Blanc, the third stage will be held on 6 March in the Austrian Fibersure. After that one round will be held at the Hynes resort in Alaska (North America) on March 17. The final stage of the Freeride World Tour will take place in the Swiss Verbier on 2 April.
