The Ministry of foreign Affairs and the Embassy of the PRC (China) scheduled two performances on the occasion of the Chinese New year celebration in Andorra. As reports the Embassy of the PRC, the aim is to familiarize the people of Andorra with traditional Chinese culture.
The first event is scheduled on Friday 12 November at the Congress centre in the capital of Andorra La Vella, where one can hear the orchestra of the national theatre of song and dance of Fujian province. The program will include popular traditional melodies played on classical Chinese instruments. The concert will take place at 9.30 PM. Tickets are free, but booking is required via the website of “Morabanс”, which is one of the organizers of the concert.
On Saturday 13th February the school Kongzi will represent the dance of dragons and lions at the Plaza de La Rotonda in the capital of Andorra La Vella. It will be street performances, each of which will last about 10 minutes. The presentations are scheduled on 18.00, 19.00 and 20.00.
