The national classical orchestra of Andorra (Pyrenees) (Orquestra Nacional Clàssica d’Andorra, ONCA) gave a concert on May 3 at the National music auditorium of Madrid, Spain, (Sala de Cámara de l’Auditorio Nacional de Música de Madrid) – “La emoción de los clásicos”.

16 musicians, including bandleader and violinist Claret Gerard performed works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky.

ONCA was established in 1992 in a formatof string orchestra, since 2006, the orchestra received the status of the chamber. ONCA performs annually with foreign tours, in particular, in the Palace of Catalan music (Palau de la música Сatalana, Barcelona, Catalonia) and theatre audiences of San Cugat del Valles (Teatre Auditori de Sant Cugat del Vallès) in Barcelona.

According to Gerard Claret, “this concert in Madrid gave the musicians an unforgettable experience”.

The capacity of the music hall audience – 700.
