Citroën C3/ë-C3 (4th Generation)

Citroën C3 Turbo Plus (PureTech 100) in Andorra la Vella (Andorra) during 46th Andorra la Vella Fair
The Citroën C3 is a compact B-segment car that Citroën has been producing since April 2002. The model replaced the Citroën Saxo in the lineup and is currently in its fourth generation. The first Citroën C3s were built on the same platform as the Peugeot 206. The third generation of the Citroën C3 appeared in January 2017. Its development was carried out in parallel with the Peugeot 208, starting in 2019.
IV Generation (CC21)
The European version of the fourth-generation C3 was unveiled on October 17, 2023, and production began in 2024. The model is based on the Smart Car Platform, which will serve as the basis for seven new Stellantis models. It is positioned as a more efficient alternative to the STLA modular architectures and is geared towards electric vehicles.
The European version differs from the Indian version of the C3 with its C-shaped LED headlights, a closed radiator grille with the new Citroën logo, three-element LED daytime running lights, original front fenders and doors, traditional door handles, different taillights, rear bumper design, and the possibility of installing larger wheels. The C3 is the first model to embody the new Citroën design language and logo, presented in the Oli concept in 2022.
In the interior, the European version of the C3 features a multi-layered dashboard, unlike the Indian version of the C3, which has an older interior layout with basic controls. It implements the C-Zen Lounge concept with a Citroën head-up display (which replaces the traditional instrument panel) and a steering wheel with a flat bottom segment.
For the first time in its history, the C3 is equipped with Citroën Advanced Comfort Suspension, as well as new Citroën Advanced Comfort Seats.
The design of the fourth-generation C3 is inspired by crossovers. The ground clearance has been increased to 163 mm (6.4 inches) – 28 mm (1.1 inches) more than the previous model. The roofline is higher, making the interior more spacious. Front passengers gain 30 mm (1.2 inches) of headroom, and rear passengers gain 20 mm (0.8 inches) of legroom. At the same time, the car’s length has increased by only 19 mm (0.7 inches), and the width by 6 mm (0.2 inches).
The ë-C3 electric car is equipped with a 44 kWh lithium-iron-phosphate battery. The range is up to 320 km (199 miles) according to the WLTP cycle. The 83 kW (111 hp) electric motor accelerates the car to 100 km/h in approximately 11 seconds.
Citroën has simplified the model range. Now only two trim levels are available without additional options. The only thing that can be changed is the body color.
