EBRO S700

EBRO S700 in Andorra la Vella (Andorra) during 46th Andorra la Vella Fair
The Ebro S700 is a crossover from the Spanish brand Ebro, founded in the 1950s. After a long hiatus, the company was revived thanks to financial support from the Chinese Chery group. It is positioned in the middle of the brand’s model range, above the S400 but below the S800.
The Ebro S700 is based on the Chery Tiggo 7.
The Ebro S700 will initially be offered with a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine producing 147 HP. It works in conjunction with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (7DCT) and front-wheel drive. Compared to previous models from the concern, this engine is more fuel-efficient. A plug-in hybrid version with 347 HP and an electric range of up to 90 km will be available in the future.
The interior stands out for its spaciousness and high-quality finish, including a large dual digital screen, a modern multimedia interface based on a chip used by brands such as XPENG and Geely, and a high-quality 360-degree camera system. Moreover, even in the base configuration, the car offers a full range of features, including LED headlights, a rearview camera, keyless entry, and parking sensors.
The car is equipped with driver assistance systems typical for this class of vehicles: active cruise control with Stop&Go function, blind spot warning system, lane keeping assist, automatic emergency braking in the city, rear cross-traffic alert, and automatic headlight switching.
The Ebro S700 is closely related to the Jaecoo 7 and Omoda 5. They share the same platform, engine, and transmission. However, they look different externally.
