Ogar 4 at the Bratislava Transport Museum (Bratislava, Slovakia)
The Ogar 4 is a Czechoslovak air-cooled, two-stroke, single-cylinder motorcycle manufactured by the company Ogar between 1936 and 1941. Approximately 2,150 units were produced.
The motorcycle was based on the preceding Ogar Standard model. It features a tubular frame and a pressed-steel leading-link front fork equipped with a steering damper and suspension. It was the only 250 cc motorcycle of its time to feature a four-speed transmission with a choice of hand or foot gear shifting. The ignition system is a Bosch dynamo-battery setup. A deluxe version was also offered, featuring high-mounted exhaust pipes.
