ZiF-77

ZiF-77 is a single-speed moped that was manufactured by the Penza Bicycle Plant Frunze (ZiF) from 1977 to 1992. This model became one of the most beloved among the youth of the 70s and 80s.

This model is a modernized version of the MV-18M. It differs from its predecessor in its improved finishing of units and parts, as well as chrome-plated fastening of the front fender and trunk. The inscription ZiF-77 also appeared on the tank.

Its key technical characteristics include a base of 1135 mm, tire size 559 x 48 mm (or 26 inches), a semi-open tubular frame with a height of 450 mm, a telescopic front fork with a spring shock absorber, an upwardly curved handlebar, brake shoe-type bushings with a drum diameter of 100 mm. The saddle is made on a steel frame with a shock-absorbing spring and a cushion made of sponge rubber. The D-6 engine is a two-stroke gasoline engine with a power of 1.2 HP. The brakes on the front and rear wheels are controlled manually.
