Heuliez Bus GX 117

Heuliez Bus GX 117 in Orange (Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes)
The Heuliez Bus GX 117 and GX 117 L are low-floor, reduced-length buses (midibus). Manufactured and sold by the French manufacturer Heuliez Bus from 1998 to 2006, they were the first low-floor midibuses produced by a French manufacturer. Standard and articulated versions were also available under the names GX 217, GX 317 and GX 417. They are part of the Access’Bus range. The GX 117 and GX 117 L models replaced the Heuliez GX 77H and are now replaced by the Heuliez GX 127.
These vehicles were equipped with diesel engines that met the European Euro 2 emission standards. In 2001, they were upgraded to Euro 3. During their existence, they became the best-selling low-floor medium-capacity buses in Europe: 796 buses were sold to France, Germany, Iceland and Switzerland.
