The Government of Andorra approved on 25th May the direct cooperation agreement between Andorra Telecom with two structures of the government – the Department for prevention of fires and the Department for civil protection and emergency situations.
This was stated today at a press conference by finance minister of Andorra (Pyrenees) Jordi Cinca.
The main subject of the agreement is the regulation of the interaction between the parties in the provision of a service called “security and prosperity of the citizens”.
Under the agreement, Andorra Telecom undertakes the development of a new interface technology and software that enables users to notify proper services on emergency situations and cases of emergency immediately.
