The building
In 1830, one of the largest mansions was built on Tverskaya Street – Postnikovsky Passage (Moscow). In 1897, the two-story building with a mezzanine was rebuilt: the first floor was given to a shopping arcade, and the second floor to a hotel. From 1931 to 1938, the Vsevolod Meyerhold State Theater was in the building. In 1946, the Yermolova Theater occupied the premises.
