State Organization “Andorra Turisme” and “Walt Disney Studio” made a strategic alliance. According to the agreement Andorra becomes a platform for the filming of the corporation for two years. “The alliance will strengthen the position of the principality in the tourist market, oriented on family vacations,” – reports the Government of Andorra.
Joint plans allow Andorra to participate in the various formats of advertising and feature films. In addition, the Disney Channel (with the help of different digital media of corporation) must make Andorra a well-known tourist family destination. During February and March winter holidays in Andorra are scheduled to be advertized, in May and June – Cirque du Soleil, from June to July – summer holiday in the principality.
Andorra will also be involved in the filming of La Bella y La Béstia (premiere 17 May), Piratas del Caribe (26 May) and 3 Cars (14 July). All movies are scheduled to be broadcasted on the Disney Channel.
Andorra will be represented in the media company Walt Disney, including magazines, both in winter as in summer. The campaign will also affect 11 Disney stores in Spain. In addition, one of the favorite characters of Andorra – Olaf – will also be the star of the corporation Disney.
Finally, Andorra as a Disney partner will attend the Parade of Kings in Madrid in 2018 – a thematic chariot with Disney characters, and Andorra will proceed through the main streets of the Spanish capital.
“Andorra and Walt Disney share values such as quality, innovation and respect for the family audience. This will allow us to develop joint marketing strategies that convert Andorra into an ideal place for family tourism,” – reports the Government of Andorra.
