The number of visitors of CALDEA-INUU during this summer increased by 20% than last year.

The thermal SPA CALDEA-INUU in Escaldes-Engordany, Andorra (Pyrenees)summed up the summer season. Only in July and August of 2015 SPA was visited by 73,095 people. This is 20% more than in July and August of 2014. Thus, this year SPA was the first to reach the indicators, similar to those in the pre-crisis years.

The greatest number of visitors (47 000 people) were registered in August 2015. Notably, the most popular among tourists was INUU – a new complex of thermal waters and SPA for 200 people a day. Caldea able to take about 3000 visitors per day.

According to official statistics, about 70% of visitors are residents of Spain.

The increase of visitors has largely been due to cooperation with the Cirque du Soleil which had a tour in Andorra from 13 July to 3 August, and joint programmes with other skiing resorts of Andorra – Naturlandia park and Grandvalira.

As stated the director of CALDEA-INUU Miquel Pedregal, SPA will continue to work on improving the complex. In particular, in the near future it is planned to renovate the lobby and to make restoration necessary to create new space. It is to be used for families with children.
