A visit to the largest farm in the Alt Urgell region La Reula where milk and dairy products are produced
On October 22, the Espai Ermengol Museum (la Seu d’Urgell) organized a visit to the largest farm in the Alt Urgell region “La Reula”, where milk and dairy products are produced. More than 300 cows produce up to 70,000 liters of milk per week. About 5% of this volume is used for the preparation of cottage cheese and yogurts – fresh products without preservatives with storage duration one week. The products arrive at the stores of Spain and Andorra.
