Vallnord ski resort, Andorra (Pyrenees), revealed the results of the 2015-2016 season, noting the positive dynamics of growth of number of tourists. In particular, the number of visitors of the sector of Pal-Arinsal has grown by about 4% in comparison with the season of 2014-2015. The increase of the number of visitors to the sector of Ordino-Arcalis was 14%.
According to statistics, the maximum number of visitors to Andorra are the citizens in neighbouring Spain, France and Portugal. 12% increase is by the number of tourists from the UK.
Throughout the season Vallnord kept opened about 75% of the tracks. In general, the weather conditions did not affected the work of the ski resort.
The ski season 2015-2015 was opened on 28th November in Ordino-Arcalis sector, in the sector of Pal-Arinsal – 4th December.
On 1st May Vallnord will start summer tickets sales for cycling enthusiasts. Vallnord Bike Park in La Massana will open on 7th May.
