Vallnord Ordino-Arcalís ski resort in Andorra (Pyrenees) hosts the Freeride World Tour (FWT) ski competition from 1st to 7th March, 2018. 45 best athletes from all over the world will take part in the competitions in snowboarding and alpine skiing (men and women).
This year the competitions will consist of five stages and will be held for the first time on three continents of the world.
The competitions start in Hakuba, Japan and continue in Kicking Horse, Canada.
Andorra hosts the third stage of the competition.
Further the event will be continued in Fieberbrunn, Austria and finishes traditionally in Verbier, Switzerland.
In 2018 the ski resort of Grandvalira refused to take part in organizing the stage of the freeride competition among juniors.
