Val d’Azun resort is a winter sports resort in the French Pyrenees located in the Hautes-Pyrénées department in the Occitanie region, in Lavedan.
CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING
For beginners:
Individual lesson: 40 € / 1 hour
Group lesson from 4 people: 10 € / 1 hour
Family rate: 60 € / 1 hour 30 minutes – 2 adults + 2 children – (ski rental and ski pass are not included in the price)
BIATHLON:
By prior order 1 hour 30 minutes – Olympic escape – 80 euros / 4 people (ski rental and ski pass are not included in the price).
SNOW AND FIRE:
Thursday from 10.00 to 16.00 on public holidays and Sunday outside public holidays – by prior arrangement. Walk along the slopes and in the forest with an overnight campfire. Price: 39 € / adult; 34 € / child (8-12 years old) (snowshoes, ski pass and meals are included in the price).
SNOW SHOES WITH BACKPACKS
By prior arrangement. Hike with an overnight stay in a mountain shelter located in the heart of a pine forest. On site, you will be greeted by the fireplace, where you can sample an original campfire dinner. Price: 74 € / adult; 64 € / child (8-12 years old). Snowshoes, ski pass, food and accommodation are included in the price.

THE STATION CHARACTERISTICS
Altitude 1350 – 1600 m
2 entries: at the Col de Couraduque and the Col du Soulor. 90 km of circuits and loops in cross-country skiing.
65 km of circuits and snowshoe loops
9 trails for Nordic skiing (classic): 3 green, 3 blue, 2 red and 1 black between the Soulor and Couraduque passes.
7 trails for snowshoeing (5 from the Col de Couraduque and 2 from the Col du Soulor) – including 2 ungroomed natural trails.
1 Nordic walking trail of 7.5 km round trip to the Haugarou refuge.
1 Nordic Park at the Col de Couraduque: fun area for tobogganing and skiing (downhill and cross-country skiing) served by 2 treadmills, 1 baby toboggan run, foam play area, deckchairs on solarium terraces, and picnic tables.
1 toboggan run at the Soulor pass.

The new “Grand Ski Pyrénées” pass allows you to ski in 5 ski areas and 3 ski resorts with one pass!
Ski resorts: Grand Tourmalet – Pic du Midi, Cauterets, Luz-Ardiden, Gavarnie-Gèdre and Hautacam.
Cross-country skiing: Val d’Azun, Hautacam and Pont d’Espagne à Cauterets.
Lift Pass Grand Ski Pyrénées: a unique opportunity to practice all winter sports in the Gavarnie Valley for a short time or for a week.
