The University of Andorra expands the program for studying Portuguese

The University of Andorra (Pyrenees) (La Universitat d’Andorra, UdA) and l’Institut Camoes (the establishment, opened in 1992, for the promotion of Portuguese culture) announced their common decision to expand the program on studying Portuguese. By 10th October, 2014 anyone may join the groups that correspond to A1 and A2 levels of European classification of foreign language studies (beginners).

Both courses present basic level (grammar, reading and communication skills). As for cultural content, the major goal of these courses is to provide the students with the information on the aspects of business communication and Portuguese culture via literature, music, history and geography of the country.

Everyone, from 18, may sign up for these courses. The studies begin on 13th October, 2014 and end up on 30th January, 2015. They will take place at the University of Andorra in San Julia de Loria twice a week in the evening. The cost is 30 euro (for the students and tutors of UdA the studies are free). The Preliminary knowledge of Portuguese is not obligatory.
