The University of Andorra (Universitat d’Andorra, UDA) launches a new project “Aprèn amb Pitavola”. This is a non-profit initiative to attract the attention of high school students to the issues of innovations and technologies.
The program is designed to train girls and boys from 5th and 6th courses of the high schools (10 to 12 years). Classes will be held every Tuesday from 18.00 to 19.30 for twenty weeks. Place – the University of Andorra, San Julia de Loria, Andorra (Pyrenees).
The program includes in-depth study of the disciplines like new technologies, engineering and mathematics. As part of the program students will be invited to get acquainted with programming and computational methods of mentation. The program must develop the mentation as a structured process and will teach children to find optimal solutions in different situations with minimum amount of time.
