Two expensive drugs, romiplostim and eltrombopag, will be 100% covered by CASS (Caixa Andorrana de Seguretat Social). This proposal was submitted by the minister of Health of Andorra (Pyrenees), Carlos Alvarez, and approved by the Government of Andorra.
Both drugs are used to treat chronic diseases associated with an abnormal decrease in platelet count.
